“All the arts come from God and are to be respected as divine inventions”

― John Calvin

Music

A traditional chancel choir, Ringers of the Kirk, piano and organ grace our service at 9:30am, while a contemporary band adds the notes of worship at our 11:30am-ish Upstream service

Liturgical Arts

In addition to being blessed with musical gifts, our congregation is blessed with a wide variety of artistic gifts.  Our liturgical art often reflects a season such as Adsvent or Lent, and often reflects a theme or church-wide focus.

BRDTWA Woodcut Print

Using woodcut pieces assembled by the congregations of FPC-Holt and the Lansing Church of God in Christ, artist Steve Prince used a 2-ton steamroller in our parking lot to press these 3 panels, creating a visual depiction of our year-long experience to Bridge the Racial Divide Through Worship and the Arts.
