Adults at FPC-Holt
Everyone needs a place to be (and become) the person God calls them to be. Sometimes it breaks down by interest or age or season. Fellowship at its finest!
"...let justice roll down like waters..." As long as we've been building a beloved community, we've focused on racial justice through adult education series, book studies, common ground sessions and now a partnership with the Lansing Church of God in Christ (LCOGIC). Throughout the last 3 years, LCOGIC and FPC-Holt have pursued a "Bridging the Racial Divide Through Worship and the Arts" Initiative. Our first project resulted in over 100 masks to be used in a larger composition!

FPC-Holt opens our doors to the community for common ground conversations -- offering a safe place to discuss controversial or troubling topics ranging from gun violence to bullying to the Flint water crisis.
Copper tooling, woodcut printing, pottery…we have a desire to express our worship through art so liturgical arts groups meet at various times during the year, giving expression to our God-breathed creativity.
