Covid 19 Memorial

In remembrance and to honor the more than 589,000 fellow citizens who have died from the COVID-19 virus, our congregation has created an outdoor art installation of handmade doves -- one for every thousand people who have died -- that have been hung from our bell tower.

On March 10, 2021, the installation was unveiled and a worshipful memorial service was shared with our community (the service is available below).  To view summaries of the event and to hear from its creators, there are also two videos below showing local news coverage of the evening. (The coverage in our local newspaper can be found by clicking here.)

The names of those we've honored to date are scrolling below and we invite you to submit the name of someone you know who has died of COVID-19.  Simply click here to fill out the request and we will add a dove to our bell tower in their memory.
